Social Activities Of 2011
Uttarakhand Sanskritik Samiti. Greater Noida (Regd.) believes in carrying out the social activities in and around Greater Noida to let its presence felt in the area. The Samiti carried out the following activities in this field.
- The Samiti members collected a large number of garmentssuch as woollen clothes, shirts, Sweaters. Pants, Sarees etc from the members. About 20 new blankets were also purchased. During winter season in 2011 all these garments were distributed to the needy old persons/ ladies /children of the labour class society.
- The Samiti has financially helped to the family of Late Sh Ramesh Dutt Baduni and Late Sh. Anil kuliyalon his sudden demise. And Two minutes silence was observed in the Samiti meeting to pray for the departed soul and give courage to the members of the family to bear the loss.
SUPPORT OF ANNA HAZARE ANTI CORRUPTION MOVEMENT (JAN LOKPAL)U.S.S ( Regd)believes in corruption free India in all walk of life. In line with this Samiti members along with the residents of Greater Noida gathered in Authority Circle on 21 /8/2011 in large number and took out a peaceful march through Sectors . This finally merged with Anna Hazare movement at Pari Chowk. The Samiti members brought out the importance of JAN LOK PAL BILL and expressed that the same will be in favour of one and all.
- D) Award to the meritorious children
In order to encourage and award the meritorious children who score more than 85 percent in the Secondary/Sr. Secondary Examination the Samiti is planning to give cash awards and merit Certificates to acknowledge their achievement in the Board examinations
MEDICAL CAMP
This activity was undertaken in Sector Gama-II, through Roshan Hospital, Gr Noida where about 450 persons were medically checked by a team of doctors of the hospital. 500 plus Persons attended the camp. Such type of programmes are intended to spread awareness in the masses on importance of Healthy Life. Kailash Hospital Greater Noida has agreed to give rebate to the Uttarakhandi patients who are getting treatment through them.
